I'm up 67.7% for sales 1/1/24 to 2/17/24 compared to the same time last year. My ASP is $57.93 for 181 items. Up 22.3% & 37.1% respectively. I'm an "everything" seller, but I primarily sell collectables, and business/industrial.
Why are my eBay sales down? The two main reasons for slow eBay sales are: eBay has slow summer months; your items are no longer in good demand; eBay is very interested in selling your items because they earn at least 10% of your sales. So, they are the last ones to blame for poor sales. Instead, looks for things you can change.
I do see some sellers with established listings still selling what I would say are healthy sales daily - but these are for cheap items, less than £15. I sell £20-£25 items - sales are down 75%. I also sell £70-£80 items. I used to get much fewer sales of these items, but still a healthy amount. Now down 95%.
Search your usual categories and note the sell through rate on 30 and 90 days. now scroll down to custom and pick the same 90 day period from 2022. I am seeing electronics below 3%. That means for every 1000 listings only 30 have sold in 90 days.
