Economic experts think that Pakistan’s economic crisis has several causes. Political instability and poor governance have been significantfactors that undermine the country’s fiscalposition. Pakistan is also highly import-dependent, particularlywith regard to energy, which renders it acutely vulnerable to hikes in global oil and gas prices.
