This article focuses on the theoretical, applied, and empirical evolution of an extant SFT model designed to assist families who are struggling with children dealing with SED, specifically ecosystemic structural family therapy (ESFT). ESFT is an empirically supported adaptation of SFT (Gehart 2010).
