Learning the -ed rules will help children read words correctly with proper pronunciation, and knowing the rules will also help with spelling.

22 Νοε 2015 · This is a game designed for students to identify and practise the pronunciation of '-ed' in the past simple/past participle forms of regular verbs. It comes with three sets of cards at three levels of difficulty, so it can be played with students of any level from elementary to advanced.
1. A one-page visual for remembering the three sounds of -ed. 2. A word sort – Learners cut apart the sort and sort them under “Sounds like t,” “Sounds like d,” and Sounds like id.” The sort comes in two versions: one with the base word underlined and one without the base words underlined.
