6 Δεκ 2023 · MR4 is better for sure, but I've heard some youtube recording of R1280DBs and it seems like they're much better than the old R1280T or R1280DB. The R1280DBs feels like it's in the middle of R1700Bts and MR4. It has more bass/more v-shaped but a bit more flat and good focus on mid.

21 Νοε 2018 · It seems Edifier are a step ahead of me with what looks like a matching subwoofer, the Edifier T5 for $130. Probably a more appropriate match from a design perspective, but its 8" woofer only goes down to 38 Hz, so you gain around 1 octave below the R1208Ts alone. 25 Hz should add something like 1/2 octave below that.
