5 Μαΐ 2021 · Some music, mostly acoustic, doesn't get much higher than 5 or 6 kHz, but doesn't sound muddy at all. It actually sounds crispy and fresh. I think it's really the EQ settings that you use. Best would be to borrow or buy a cheap microphone for room correction. It's not hard to do that yourself and it would make a huge difference.
14 Νοε 2021 · There is generally no need to EQ the R1280DBs any further. You will have more improvement EQ-ing your room instead. Play the above video, and if any note is suddenly too loud, then EQ that softer. (Do not do the opposite: If a note is too soft, do not EQ it louder.)

There is no correct setting that anyone can tell you to use. Set it to your tastes.
The Edifier Connect APP Customized Mode offer an equalizer (EQ) designed specifically for Edifier Bluetooth speakers and headphones. It allows you to adjust the audio output by adjusting the gain, Q factor, and frequency settings.
Every time I power up the speaker or change the source to any of the kind (doesn't matter if rca, coax or optical not even bluetooth) the sound loses all settings for bass and treble. The speakers sound very hollow/default then.
