Plan (1978-1982) of the Philippines includes poverty reduction as one of its major targets. The Bank has also become increasingly interested in the poverty issue in recent years and reports analyzing poverty have been completed for several countries, including those in the East Asia Region.
1 Ιουλ 2022 · To emphasize the significance of record reductions in poverty after 2012, this paper traces the evolution and decomposition of poverty and inequality at the national and regional levels using the results of the last seven rounds of an official household survey. It has three main findings.
