9 Φεβ 2024 · While port 21 is for sending commands to an FTP server, port 20 transfers files during active mode FTP sessions. As data sent over these ports are unencrypted, consider using one of the more secure versions of the protocol.
To use the EICAR-TEST-FILE, download the encrypted archive from this repository and save it to your computer. The archive is encrypted to bypass browser security scanners. This way it is possible download and store the file, without scanners sound an alarm.
I am using SSL deep inspection and the other test virus files are blocked, eicar.com.text, eicar_com.zip and eicarcom2.zip, downloaded from the same site with https. For this test I only use the AV profile and SSL Deep Inspection, no IPS/Web/DNS/APP etc profiles.
3 Οκτ 2023 · If a file is a container file, you can download eicar.com or eicar.com.zip from the EICAR web site, then insert eicar.com or eicar.com.zip into that container file using the methods which are detailed for that particular file format.
