Volunteers provide non-clinical support, but there are a variety of volunteer opportunities throughout the hospital from delivering sterile equipment to various units, providing directions and/or escorting patients and visitors, assisting with clerical work, playing the lobby piano, and more.

Happy National Volunteer Week to all of our outstanding volunteers, from the El Camino Hospital Auxiliary to the Chinese Health Initiative, South Asian Heart Center, Spiritual Care, and much more. So far this fiscal year, they’ve dedicated more than 28,000 hours of service.
We are a bilingual and multicultural nonprofit located in Charlotte NC. For more than 20 years, Camino has served Latino families in this area. Our services include a health center, upward mobility program, thrift store, church, research institute, and university.
