Based on research, it looks like the best options for horseback riding are in La Fortuna. I am looking at Don Tobias and Pacos. Any experience with either of those?
The Horseback Riding La Fortuna River Waterfall is one of the pioneer excursions created in town. In the beginning, the road to the Waterfall was a challenge, and the best way to get there was by horse. This is a good combination of horseback ride and hike and a beautiful stage.

About. We have a tour at 8:30amto La Fortuna waterfall or at 2:00pm around the farm. The tour to la Fortuna waterfall consists of a one hour ride through pastures and farmland. Then we venture into the jungle were we cross a river and proceed up the mountain to the waterfall Rio Fortuna.
