6 Σεπ 2011 · Having had an opportunity to review the delightful La Palina Alison (Torpedo) earlier this year, I jumped on the chance to try the La Palina El Diario, a new blend. El Diario translates to “The Daily”, which is the intention behind this cigar — that this would be a great smoke for everyday.
1 Αυγ 2022 · After doing some research on the “El Diario” line of cigars they offer, I am amazed to find out that this line is meant to be one of their stronger blends. In my opinion it was mild-medium. The La Palina El Diario Kill Bill II is only offered in the corona vitola and I’d love to see it folded in half to make a nice gordo .
The KBII is well-constructed, and exhibits a wrapper mottled with rich reds and browns. Pre-Light: The smell off the foot is a rich, damp hay. After clipping, the cigar shows a moderately open draw, and reveals some telling flavors on the cold draw: the aformentioned damp hay, a mild spice, and a raisin-like sweetness.
