El Pulgarcito has an extensive menu, I have tried a few other items from the menu, for example: Mojarra Frita (fried tilapia) Caldo de Res (beef soup) Yuca Frita (fried cassava plant) Tamale de pollo (chicken tamale and Platanitos (fried plantains) all to my satisfaction.

Dutch crunch is all over the Bay Area, but it’s hard to find anywhere else in the country, and even the state. The crackly-topped loaf is a staple at every sandwich shop in town—including our favorite classic deli stop, Lou’s Cafe.
