The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), Indiana’s University Center for Excellence in Disabilities, has fostered a foundation of excellence for community investment in developmental disabilities since 1970.
1 Φεβ 2024 · Indiana is incorporating universal design principles into its accessibility standards by implementing measures such as requiring accessible entrances and exits, accessible parking spaces, and wheelchair-accessible paths of travel in public buildings.

M.E.D. Works is an Indiana program designed to allow people with disabilities to work and still keep their Medicaid eligibility. M.E.D. Works is a work incentive program for individuals who receive more income than the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) federal benefit rate.
