There are six lineages in the world of Empire, each associated with one of the realms of magic: (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Day, and Night).
The character you create for Empire must be an Imperial citizen. This means you must choose one of the nine Imperial nations that your character is from or else play an Imperial Orc. Your choice represents the nation that your character is formally identified by the civil service as being part of.
20 Ιουν 2015 · Empire is a fantasy live-combat fest larp in the UK. It is run by Profound Decisions. The game is faction-based, with players representing various components of a fantasy empire as it defends itself against the barbarian hordes.
I'm most familiar with Empire and I would recommend it to all new UK LARPers - as somebody very new to LARP myself, Empire has a really good framework for introducing new players to how the game works.
This is amazing, a player made a fully interactive and searchable map of the Empire LRP setting https://empirelarpmap.com/ You can click on most of text/region/city within the Empire (coloured regions) and it brings up a sidebar with info drawn directly from the wiki.
Dwarves (as a race) aren't present in Empire, although a rune-happy human Steinr might scratch your mead-swigging, hammer-swinging itch. It's a good race system, which works incredibly well in the field. Topics of race and lineage can become quite heated, which contributes to some excellent roleplay.
