This is a list of museums in Columbus, Ohio and non-profit and university art galleries. The city's first museum was the Walcutt Museum, opened July 1851. At its opening, the museum had about six wax figures and a few paintings.
The most engaging exhibits tend to be those on the first floor. There is a large area for eating and a breakroom style concession area on the upper floor. There is a large map with great historical information about Ohio, including pertinent cities, rivers and counties near the trolley car.
