The Enochian Calls serve primarily as Energy amplifiers, and when properly used, clearly add great power to Rituals of Ceremonial Magic. Nonetheless, the decision whether or not to employ the Enochian Calls with the Rituals contained in the present book must be left to the discretion, personal responsibility, and risk of each Magician.
Neither the modern nor the old pratical approach to the calls is being forbidden by the angels, but checking through the texts of Dee reveals that there are clear sings of a more apocalyptic background to enochian magic.
