Search for the problematic app, right-click the top result, and choose the “Open folder location” option. Right-click the app executable file and select the Properties option. Click the Compatibility tab.

Remove USB drivers. Some PC’s may have issues with USB drivers. We recommend to try and uninstall all old drivers if possible. The tool USBDeview makes this process easier. Download the tool here: https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usbdeview.zip. Open USBdeview.exe as admin. Select all devices with Vendor ID 1395.
Plugging into a 'bad' usb port would bork the driver and require a manual uninstall. I repeated this until 1 usb port worked and haven't had any issues since, plus EPOS updated the device firmware and Gaming Suite to support Windows 11.
I've just bought an EPOS GSX 1000 for gaming on a brand new windows 11 PC, but I couldn't enable 7.1 in the windows sound configuration, and the SENNHEISER support confirmed to me that it could not be done since windows 11 is not supported.
