Remove USB drivers. Some PC’s may have issues with USB drivers. We recommend to try and uninstall all old drivers if possible. The tool USBDeview makes this process easier. I've just bought an EPOS GSX 1000 for gaming on a brand new windows 11 PC, but I couldn't enable 7.1 in the windows sound configuration, and the SENNHEISER support confirmed to me that it could not be done since windows 11 is not supported.
Get the latest official EPOS drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, or 7. Update drivers using the largest database.
Plugging into a 'bad' usb port would bork the driver and require a manual uninstall. I repeated this until 1 usb port worked and haven't had any issues since, plus EPOS updated the device firmware and Gaming Suite to support Windows 11.
Check from the audio device properties that it has EPOS audio driver shown as installed driver, if not then update the drivers manually through windows with online search.
