18 Σεπ 2018 · In Everquest 2, the wizard class was traditionally the class of elemental (heat and cold) damage with a particular focus on very high single target damage attacks. They are the counter-class to Warlocks, whose focus is on poison/disease and aoe damage.
Everquest 2 Class Guides. There are 24 playable classes in Everquest 2. Keep in mind you may not always pick the class you'll fall in love with first, but this isn't always bad. Playing different classes helps you understand the strengths and weaknesses of that class. This will make you better in PvP and while grouping.

Character classes are organized in a symmetrical hierarchy with twenty-six classes total. There are four major archetypes of classes: Fighter, Mage, Priest, and Scout. With game update 48 eighteen of twenty-six are neutral, meaning you can create them to reside in either an evil or good city.
