30 Ιουν 2021 · Windows 11 will only install on a 64-bit PC. It will still support 64- and 32-bit software, including EQ2, just like Windows 10 does currently.
It is recommended that you install EverQuest 2 on Windows 10 or later, which already includes support for DirectX 11.1. If you are installing the game on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you may need to install additional operating system updates to ensure compatibility with the current version of the game.

I was thinking of upgrading all the computers in my house to windows 11 but we all play eq2. Are there any issues playing eq2 on windows 11? any compatibility issues? Nope. Works perfectly. I have the beta build. I still see two versions of EQ2 on my computer (the sony version, and the daybreak one), but haven't had any problems.
