18 Οκτ 2021 · This article provides an overview of foot anatomy and physiology, with a focus on fundamental knowledge. The foot is defined as the epidermal hoof capsule and all structures enveloped by the capsule. The anatomy is described using terminology published in Nomina Anatomica Veterinaria.
This course is ideal for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge of equine anatomy and physiology at level 3 and will provide an excellent foundation for studies at level 4, e.g. for those wishing to study equine exercise physiology, equine health management, biomechanics, equine therapeutics, etc.
