21 Ιουν 2017 · Many barrels with common over bore used by LR shooters have 1000-1500 rounds life. BR tradition would have thorough cleaning every 10-20 rounds and then needing 1-3 foulers IMO cut down on cleaning till it actually meaningfully effects accuracy.

8 Μαρ 2017 · I have Shaw barrels on two rifles. The .338 on a '98 action is accurate but not fun to shoot. It took a very nice Idaho elk for me. But the .243 on a Remington '03 A3 action will do 3/4 MOA or better. I called Shaw just to brag about it.
23 Οκτ 2010 · For what its worth I have a couple Shaw barrels, a 6.5X55 A.I. (1-9 T)and 6mm-284 (1-12 T). both will print sub 1/4" groups at 100 yards. As with all barrels they need to be seasoned properly and yes they will shoot. By the way both are screwed on M98 Mauser actions.
15 Ιουν 2009 · Or you might have barrel droop. Sometimes a shim in one of the rings will get you on target without too much scope adjustment. At least you've got accuracy--but scopes are at their best when as close to 0 adjustment as possible.
