8 Σεπ 2018 · Bottom line, for $250, this barrel is a major upgrade over stock (at least for me) and for the cost, puts me well within precision needed for long range practice on the cheap. I put rounds down range at 215yds on a 3" target, hitting 8 of 10 at that range.

28 Νοε 2020 · My Shaw barrel in 6.5 CM was a copper mine. It shot terrific when clean, but accuracy went south as it coppered up, and it did that very quickly. They make a decent hunting rifle, but not so much if shooting groups in targets. Use it for what it was designed for and you'll be quite satisfied.

23 Αυγ 2009 · Why would you want a Shaw barrel on your Savage when the Savage barrel is one of the most consistently accurate on the market? I just finished shooting a three-shot group into .4375" at 100 yds from my Savage 111 in 300 Win Mag!
