How many of you like the ER shaw barrel kits? I haven't done much with the savage I have rebarreled in this caliber, but I think it shows alot of promise for the 358 Win. 3shots @ 100.
8 Σεπ 2018 · Enter ER Shaw barrel.... Highlights: Fits VERY tight into receiver. Bolt is very stiff to close but relaxing a bit as surfaces get lapped together. This Savage Barrel Kit includes a finished drop-in barrel, barrel nut wrench, "Go" and "No-Go" headspace gauge, and detailed instructions. This barrel is precision reamed and button rifled. Length and bore diameter are held to match quality tolerances of .0003".
21 Ιουν 2017 · So far they all 5 shoot very good, much better than a factory rifle. But the two ER Shaw barrels are both outstanding as you can see above. They say a barrel and best accuracy are seen after 200 or so shots...can't wait to see what these two riflesh will do then!

23 Σεπ 2010 · I specified a 24-inch barrel with Shaw's spiral flutes, which not only adds a touch of class to the rifle, it helps keep the barrel cool if the shooting gets hot. The contour is medium weight and tapers to .720 inch at the muzzle. The barrel is completely free-floated in the black and gray laminated wood stock.
8 Μαρ 2017 · I've had several E.R. Shaw barrels starting back about 15 years, and most recently about a year ago. I did a review on the latest one, which had a "tight spot"; and several posts with it. Possible past demons aside, I've never had a "bad" barrel from them; including the current barrel.
