19 Αυγ 2023 · I’m using a stainless and a blued barrel on two different 10/22’s I built for precision rimfire matches. In the 10/22 blued barrel Eley Benchrest precision is supper accurate. Won a match with it in August. The stainless barreled 10/22 seems to like SK Auto. Both barrels hang in there with more expensive rifles.
5 Μαρ 2024 · Something not really unusual for a match 22 LR barrel. To do that, it was a hard bolt close that I didn't like so remounted the barrel putting a .003 shim in. Cartridges still has a bit of a tight fit, but they can be extracted without issue leaving just a slight deformation left by the lands.
8 Μαρ 2012 · I've built two 10/22's using the E.R.Shaw 18" blue bull barrels and shoot groups similar to the earlier ones posted (I don't typically take pics when I go shooting). If and/or when I do another build, I won't hesitate to go with a third one.
