Abstract The era of society 5.0 is a concept of life that emphasizes and focuses on social responsibility and improving the quality of life that is more advanced and discoveries of new innovation centers compared to the industrial revolution 4.0 which is more focused on technology.
When society and technology coexist, technology is able to drive people to have accessibility without time limits. The objective of this study is to describe the overview of the Era of Society 5.0 seen from the perspectives of materialism and existentialism in social sciences.
This book constitutes revised and selected papers from the First International Conference on Society 5.0, Society 5.0 2021, held virtually in June 2021. The 12 full papers and 3 short papers presented in this volume were thoroughly reviewed and selected from the 54 qualified submissions.
