Follow this wall until you find the room with the alcove. Around it are pieces of a ladder which you need to collect to reach up to the cubby. After you get the key head back to the door to unlock it.

Level 5, also known as The Terror Hotel, is a Level in Escape the Backrooms. It appears to be a Vintage Hotel. Level 5 is an Old Hotel that has furniture and architecture dating back to the 1930's. This Level is split up into three floors: The Main Halls, The Hotel, and The Boiler Room.
