One colleague “does it all the time, as do thousands of schools.” “The only ‘outside apps’ that you can use are those that work in ChromeOS. So, get used to using Google Docs and Google Sheets [and other products] etc., instead of MS-Office or TextEdit/Notepad or the like.”
19 Ιουλ 2022 · Public users can access a publicly shared web map from ArcGIS Online when it is embedded in a website. Before embedding the map in the website, the web map view can be configured by checking the Basem.

11 Μαρ 2024 · I have an ArcGIS Online account for personal use. I created an Instant App with my map, but when I share it, the link brings people to sign in (see photo below). I want the public to be able to access this app without an ArcGIS account.
15 Σεπ 2020 · The shared map or app is accessible to the public if the map and all underlying data (for example, layers and tables) are shared publicly. In some instances, attempting to open the publicly shared web map or web app fails and prompts for log-in credentials.
To share an app publicly that contains subscriber content, you can configure the app to allow access to the content through your organizational subscription so that app users aren't prompted to sign in to access those layers in your app. You can track app usage and disable sharing later if needed.
