23 Οκτ 2020 · The four themes included: (1) the importance of ethics education as perceived by nursing students; (2) problems in current nursing ethics education; 3) the experience of case-centered nursing ethics education using the four topics method; and (4) suggestions to improve nursing ethics education.
In this course, ethical concepts and principles, concepts of law, ethics and deontology, values, law and regulations, the concept of ethics in nursing and ethical dilemma, ethical codes in nursing, human rights, malpractice, ethics and plagiarism in scientific researches were covered.
The findings of this study indicate that nursing ethics education through CBL is an effective strategy for improving moral reasoning among nursing students. This teaching method is also useful for actively engaging students in learning and facilitating the learning process.
23 Οκτ 2020 · First, we delivered case-centered nursing ethics education sessions to nursing students using the four topics method. Then, we conducted two focus group discussions that explored students' perspectives on and experiences of nursing ethics education.
In this study, ethics education was found to raise nursing students’ awareness regarding the code of ethics and was indispensable for building a desirable ethical value system among future medical professionals.
12 Μαΐ 2020 · This study aims to evaluate an advanced education workshop held in the nursing department in Max Stern Yezreel Valley College aimed at strengthening the self-perceptions of ethical competence, to address the above gap, by raising students’ self-efficacy when coping with ethical dilemmas.
