Magellan is a map editing software for EU4, aimed at helping players easily modify maps for EU4, particularly for full conversion mods. Setup: Unfortunately for you non-programmers, there isn't a single executable (.exe) file you just need to download and run. Thus, the following steps are required. 27 Ιαν 2014 · Haftetavenscrap released his own random map generator for playable EU4 mods. I am posting here because you can export the various layers of the generated map as .bmp to use them in your custom map! You can export surface, height, rivers, vegetation and province map seperately to easily combine them in Photoshop to a pretty decently looking map!
I advise to not use this tool on your actual mod files, but to create a separate copy in case something goes wrong. A simple but very effective failsafe. You can download it from here. https://github.com/CzerstfyChlep/Eu4-Mod-Editing-Tool.
