This is a good guide for where it covers, but you completely skipped over Catacombs 12-28, the majority of the game. Zombie Solider is only good up until f3, where you should get adaptive, then in f4, get spirit boots + dark goggles/shadow goggles. Then in f5, get carried for F6 to war necro lord pants and boots, t8/9 perfect, and shadow goggles.

Mage is a Dungeon class that focuses on magic damage and abilities. The Mage Class provides many ability focused bonuses. While in the Catacombs, players gain +250 Intelligence and an additional +5 Intelligence per class level. If only one player is playing the Mage class, then the base Intelligence bonus is increased from 250 to 500.
