Gel coat also can be applied with a standard paint gun with primer nozzle (70-80 thousandths) at 40-50 psi or Preval sprayer. Make sure that the catalyzed gelcoat does not set up inside the sprayer.

20 Νοε 2006 · This can be done either by adding a wax in the mix or by overspraying the applied gelcoat with polyvinyl alcohol. If applying multiple coats, you only do this on the topcoat. When laminating you leave the wax out until the topcoat.
