For example the well-known image tool Irfanview (1) can directly select the current image as wallpaper, and in that case it will be stored as:

Try locating the pictures on your hard drive. Here are various search methods available in Windows 7. You may start searching with the name Lighthouse, Tulips, Desert etc which are the default name for the sample pictures. The images are not available for download from Microsoft website.
10 Φεβ 2009 · The default folder that Windows 7 uses is at C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper, but you can select to use any folder that you like that contains the images that you want to use instead. You can see more about this in this tutorial below.

To change the logon image : Now, head over to the following folder: C:\Windows\System32\oobe (“C” is your Windows Seven Installation drive) Here, create a new folder named Info.
