DXT2 Big Dot front sights use our Ember glow dot that absorbs light and glows in low light levels before it is dark enough to see the tritium. The dot-the-“i” sight picture prevents confusing the front and rear sights in high-stress situations.
Our Big Dots measure 0.188” (4.8 mm) wide, making them the biggest front sight on the market. Our Original Big Dot Sights are equipped with self-illuminating tritium vials and a white convex dot. White helps overcome color vision issues, reflects ambient light, and stands out well on a long barrel.
INNOVATIVE DESIGN: Utilizing the acclaimed Big Dot design, this sight features a large front and a white-striped rear sight without tritium; This approach sharpens the visibility of the vertical alignment bar, yielding excellent performance under varying light conditions.
The increased surface area makes the dot brighter in daylight and low-light, helps overcome poor eyesight, and increases front sight acquisition speed. DXT2 Big Dots are available in Yellow or Orange color options. Yellow glows the best, and Orange contrasts the best in bright light.
