7 Φεβ 2020 · I have just over 20k miles on 2018 JLU Sahara. 0 problems. Seems to run better everyday and loving every minute of it! Taking it in for 20k mile service soon and want to see what people recommend on having the steering damper replaced?

10 Ιουν 2006 · I just picked up a new steering damper to replace the stock piece of crap. It's an Italian made unit. Only 8 clicks of adjustment from none to very stiff, but it seems to be very effective.
11 Φεβ 2019 · It's the only problem I have with the UNIC / Scotts etc. I'd kill for a far wider Arc in a compact steering damper. I have very, Very good suspension. My bikes are perfectly aligned. On the Dirt, I don't have weaving or head shake problems.
8 Μαρ 2015 · Failed ball bearings can bung up and interfere with steering smoothly. Tapered roller bearings are stronger and last longer than ball bearings alone, but do wear out as well. Whether or not you need a damper totally depends on your riding abilities and how much you push the bike.
