The formal application letter does two things. First, it serves as a formal application for either an air carrier certificate or an operating certificate and secondly it serves as the vehicle to transmit the package of required documents. Contain the full and official name of the applicant.
8 Ιουν 2023 · Submit the Formal Application Letter and Required Documents. When the formal application is received, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will need 30 calendar days prior to the formal application meeting to review the formal application checklist submission.
DEMONSTRATING MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE to the FAA: Below are sample letters. Please only use them as a guide. In order to receive authorization from the FAA to test for a given A&P Certificate you must first demonstrate that you meet the experience requirements.
Formal Application Letter: A formal application letter must be completed by all applicants and submitted to the FAA. A sample letter is provided. Choose the correct Flight Standards Office and fill in the required information as indicated.
