Alexandria University (Arabic: جامعة الإسكندرية) is a public university in Alexandria, Egypt. It was established in 1938 as a satellite of Fouad University (the name of which was later changed to Cairo University), becoming an independent entity in 1942.
23 Δεκ 2013 · Faculty of Arts was established in Alexandria in the academic year 38/1939 and was a subsidiary of FOUAD I University (now Cairo University), and then issued a decree establishing the University of Farouk I in 1942 became the first Faculty of Arts Faculty of a university in Alexandria.
