15 Φεβ 2020 · I reviewed a Fallkniven H1 with some comparisons to the F1 version of the knife. This knife features a very prominent belly over the F1. There is really no flat part of the blade as it has a continuous curve. This is probably good for a skinning knife, but it didn't handle as well for me for...
22 Μαρ 2014 · The main difference is in the steels, as BR often use A2 carbon toolsteel and FK use laminated stainless. BR also prefer a thinner, higher convex grind for better slicing. FK uses a slightly thicker convex edge, on a FFG blade. Regards.

19 Μαΐ 2008 · The H1 from Fallkniven is one of the most frequently-recommended bushcraft knives, despite the fact that it’s technically a “hunting” knife and not a bushcraft knife at all. The blade is 4 inches of powdered 3G steel.
This hunting knife pays homage to the classic north Scandinavian knifemaking art, but with modern innovations. The H1 features an ergonomically shaped textured handle made of thermorun plastic, offering enhanced grip safety without a standard finger guard.
The Model H1 will surely be your first choice for such use, as everything on this knife is matched for maximum capability in countless situations: the sharp, strong and tough steel, the 0.2" blade thickness, the razor-sharp convex-ground blade, the straight, ergonomic handle in tacky Kraton rubber, and the extremely compact size.
