Equestria is a phoenix waiting to be reborn. There's a lot more to be extrapolated (thematically, conceptually, and emotionally), but I would need to reread the story to really break it down properly.
Generally speaking you'll want to read the Big Five first. In addition to the original Fallout Equestria by Kkat, the other members of the Big Five are Project Horizons by Somber, Murky Number Seven by Fuzzy, Pink Eyes by Mimezinga, and Heroes by No One. They're all complete.
