You have to collect 3 pieces of a family crest from 3 sons and return them to the father, who is hoping to reunite his scattered family. One son (cook in Catherby) will require you to catch and cook several different kinds of fish for him.
After the Family Pest miniquest, you can have all three gauntlets for 500,000 coins. Completing Family Crest is a requirement for starting Legends' Quest.
Family Crest is directly required for the following quests/miniquests: Defender of Varrock
Steel gauntlets are a reward for completing the Family Crest quest and an heirloom of the Fitzharmon family. Players can take them to any of the three brothers from the quest and have them enchant the gauntlets with a special ability.
