Bob Baffert is widely recognized as one of the most successful trainers in the history of horse racing. The middle of seven children, Bob grew up on a cattle and chicken ranch in Nogales, AZ. Initially Quarter Horse trainer in AZ and CA, switched to Thoroughbreds at Santa Anita, 1991.

Horses from the major California tracks that had ultimately been relegated to Caliente, across the border, or to the many auctions conducted in those days, found their way to the show ring.
Michael exceeded $3.6M in purse earnings and also started training a string of horses in Kentucky in 2020. Michael earned his first career Triple Crown race win in the G1 Preakness Stakes with Rombauer on May 15, 2021.
