You can’t skip on a flight simulator. You can accelerate the simulation through several speeds, but you should be on Auto Pilot. Slew is the ability to “move” the aircraft for positioning.
19 Ιουλ 2021 · Do you mean “increase the speed of the sim” in order to travel between airports faster? Search for “sim rate” and map keys to that. (I can’t remember what the defaults are or if they are even mapped by default)

Go to controller settings- search "sim"- you'll see three blank inputs. Set increase and decrease to diferent bindings (I did r1+r3 and l1+l3, seems to work nicely). Now click those during the flight to speed it up!
25 Ιουλ 2021 · To slow down the time of Flight Simulator's simulation with sim rate, you need to press the R, then the CTRL and - key on the numpad. Though this is listed as R and then one of the plus or minus keys in the default settings, for us, we needed to also press the CTRL key for it to work.
