FAST RESCUE BOAT. Learn how to handle and take charge of fast rescue boats during or after launch in adverse weather and sea conditions. Trainees will know the correct use of all locating devices, including communication and signaling equipment between the rescue boat and a helicopter and the ship, and how to carry out search patterns.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skill to safely operate a Fast Rescue Craft (FRC) and manage its crew during operation. The course is designed for seafarers who require AMSA endorsement and for personnel who work on floating production storage/offloading units (FPSO) and/or floating storage offloading (FSO) vessels.
On this practical course you'll learn to take charge of a fast rescue boat and handle it in all weather conditions, carry out search patterns and recover a casualty from the water.
