I've tried feliway regular and multicat and another brand(orange box, can't remember the name) over the last 7 years and they have never once made any difference for my 4 cats(now 3 cats). It's not cheap, but I put a diffuser in every room on both floors of my house.
I don't think multicat vs standard really matters in your situation. Also, not sure if Feliway makes any, but our clinic stocks pheromone collars, too, which makes a huge difference as well. Zylkene is another product I really like.
