Visit https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and click on "Sign Up Now". Fill out the required information. In the Platform drop-down menu, select Windows PC. Complete the Captcha module and click Submit. You will now need to enter an 8-character confirmation code to complete your account creation.
9 Φεβ 2022 · To link accounts, the Steam account must possess a FINAL FANTASY XIV license that matches that found on the target Square Enix account/FINAL FANTASY XIV service account (e.g., the Free Trial version or the full game version).
This happened to me when I tried to play Steam trial with a Windows trial account. Check your account status in mogstation. If it says “Free Trial (Steam)”, you can only play on the Steam version of the game. Simiarly, “Free Trial” means you have to use Windows version.
My friend forgot the password for the account and can't seem to recover their account to change their password, as there's no mog station account. When I had them make a mog station account using their email address tied to their FF14 login on steam, it seemed to create a completely new account.
