7 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 8, 2024, 9 a.m.] Evacuation warnings and orders were expanded Sunday night in response to the growing Lake Fire, which has grown to 20,320 acres and is currently 8 percent contained, according to Calfire.
5 Ιουλ 2024 · An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect with highs expected to reach the 80’s and 90’s. Lighter vegetation like grass continues to dry out and is receptive to wildfire. The fire is divided into two zones, the North Zone led by CA-CIMT13 with USFS and the South Zone led by IMT5 with CAL Fire.
Evening update. Acres: 21,763. Containment: 8% A smoke column was visible much of the day as a result of the Lake Fire burning up Figueroa Mountain around the day use area. There was not significant fire growth today. A Red Flag Warning is issued for the fire area tomorrow.
An Evacuation Order has ben issued for Figueroa Mountain Road from 5380 Figueroa Mountain Road (Grass Mountain Trail Head) to the neighborhood within Sawmill Basin, including Tunnel Road & the Figueroa Campground. The blaze first broke out Friday evening near Zaca Lake northeast of Los Olivos.
7 Ιουλ 2024 · - In a video update released Sunday morning, fire officials said the Lake Fire had mostly stayed within its original footprint overnight with some growth in the Figueroa Mountain area.
