7 Ιουλ 2024 · UPDATE (2:47 p.m.) - The Lake Fire has grown to 16,452 acres, according to the latest CAL FIRE mapping. The closure on Figueroa Mountain Road has been moved to two miles north of Highway 154. ___
8 Ιουλ 2024 · The Lake Fire has grown to 26,176 acres and is 12 percent contained as of Tuesday morning, according to Cal Fire. Work crew numbers have been updated as follows: 2,485 personnel, 11 helicopters, 189 engines, 62 dozers, 39 water tenders, and 70 crews. [Update: July 8, 2024, 8:20 p.m.]
6 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 7, 2024, 8 a.m.] An evacuation order went out for parts of Figueroa Mountain Road around 1:40 a.m. on July 7. The Lake Fire evacuation zone is between the Grass Mountain Trailhead (5380 Figueroa Mountain Rd.) to the Sawmill Basin neighborhood to the east, including the Figueroa Campground and Tunnel Road.
