5 Ιουλ 2024 · Situation Summary. A smoke column was visible much of the day as a result of the Lake Fire burning up Figueroa Mountain around the day use area. There was not significant fire growth today because crews went direct with extinguishing spot fires.
Road Closures and Conditions. Roads open to the Big Bear Valley include SR-38 from Mentone, SR-18 from Lucerne Valley and SR-18 through Crestline/Running Springs. Roads closed to all traffic: SR-330. Follow Updates.

8 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 8, 2024, 8:20 p.m.] The evacuation order and warning areas for the Lake Fire have been expanded: Residents are ordered to evacuate parts of the Figueroa Mountain area immediately: south of Tunnel House at Sisquoc River, east of Figueroa Creek, north of the southern end of Cachuma Mountain, and west of Los Padres National Forest areas.
7 Ιουλ 2024 · An evacuation warning remains in effect for Figueroa Mountain Road to the Chamberlin Ranch to the west. Residents of areas between Zaca Lake Road, Foxen Canyon Road, and south of the Sisquoc River are also warned that an evacuation order may be made if the fire moves toward them.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · The Lake Fire evacuation zone is between the Grass Mountain Trailhead (5380 Figueroa Mountain Rd.) to the Sawmill Basin neighborhood to the east, including the Figueroa Campground and Tunnel Road. An evacuation warning remains in effect for Figueroa Mountain Road to the Chamberlin Ranch to the west.
