5 Ιουλ 2024 · Today, crews continue to actively fight fire while working on strengthening containment and control lines. Forecast for Thursday: No significant changes are expected. Winds will shift to a more westerly direction, with speeds generally light at 5-10 mph and gusts up to 15 mph, with some local gusts reaching 25 mph on ridges above 3500 feet.
7 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 8, 2024, 9 a.m.] Evacuation warnings and orders were expanded Sunday night in response to the growing Lake Fire, which has grown to 20,320 acres and is currently 8 percent contained, according to Calfire.
5 Ιουλ 2024 · Today, crews will continue to extinguish hot spots, improve containment lines along the northeaster perimeter. Tactical firing operations will continue ahead of the fire to control fire spread. Significant fire activity on the southeast side of the fire footprint has prompted additional evacuations and an increase in acreage.

5 Ιουλ 2024 · An Excessive Heat Warning will be in effect with highs expected to reach the 80’s and 90’s. Lighter vegetation like grass continues to dry out and is receptive to wildfire. The fire is divided into two zones, the North Zone led by CA-CIMT13 with USFS and the South Zone led by IMT5 with CAL Fire.
