7 Ιουλ 2024 · The Lake Fire continued to rage out of control on Sunday as authorities issued the incident’s first evacuation order — for the upper Figueroa Mountain Road area.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · The Lake Fire evacuation zone is between the Grass Mountain Trailhead (5380 Figueroa Mountain Rd.) to the Sawmill Basin neighborhood to the east, including the Figueroa Campground and Tunnel Road. An evacuation warning remains in effect for Figueroa Mountain Road to the Chamberlin Ranch to the west.
5 Ιουλ 2024 · Overnight the fire continued to burn, with crews going direct to ensure it remained within contingency lines. The fire perimeter is approximately 8 - 9 miles from Los Olivos. Today, crews will continue to extinguish hot spots, improve containment lines along the northeaster perimeter.

7 Ιουλ 2024 · [Update: July 8, 2024, 9 a.m.] Evacuation warnings and orders were expanded Sunday night in response to the growing Lake Fire, which has grown to 20,320 acres and is currently 8 percent contained, according to Calfire.
6 Ιουλ 2024 · The vegetation fire broke out at 3:46 p.m. Friday to the northeast of Figueroa Mountain near 5200 block of Figueroa Mountain Road. The fire has been named the “Lake Fire.” US Forest Service and Santa Barbara County firefighters are on the scene including hand crews, dozers, and water tenders.
